Final Cut Pro is one of the leading video editing software for macOS users, widely favored by filmmakers, editors, and video content creation enthusiasts.

Reasons to Change the Language of Final Cut Pro

Currently, the interface language of Final Cut Pro matches the system language. Typically, to change the language of Final Cut Pro, you would change the system language, and Final Cut Pro will automatically adjust accordingly.

However, for those using a different system language, such as Japanese or Chinese, the Final Cut Pro interface will also be in Japanese or Chinese. Personally, I find the English interface to be the most user-friendly when using Final Cut Pro.

Therefore, in this article, I will guide you on how to change the language of Final Cut Pro to English without altering the system language of macOS, helping you work more efficiently and conveniently during video editing.

That’s it. Since Final Cut Pro currently does not support changing the language directly within the app, we can use this method to switch the interface to English while keeping the OS language unchanged.
